Gordon said foreign control is a threat and a serious one to Canada s Independence and the dominate role of american business and labor unions in Canada represents a new form of financial or of economic Colo or. Gordon said he doubts canadians would support a widespread program of nationalization. However he warned that the nip s program of in creased government intervention to promote greater National control of Industry would attract nationalists who cannot identify with other parties whose poli cies result in foreign control.
