Winnipeg policemen want 15% More pay by Bob Lis Way Winnipeg policemen want a per cent pay increase nex a first class Constable wit two years service would be a year beginning Jan. 1 if the increase is granted by Winnipeg s Central City coun cil. A first class Constable nov gets a year. The request was presented wednesday to the Central coun cil s finance committee by the Winnipeg police athletic association the bargaining agent for 472 the existing police department. The finance committee re f erred the. Request to the new City s personnel team made up of administrators to begin negotiations with the police association.
