Winnipeg Free Press (Newspaper) - March 2, 1972, Winnipeg, Manitoba Winnipeg free press thursday March 2, 1972 Mil prods has loan report continued Gordon Grosh Secretary o Mil prods said in an interview wednesday that the company received the loan from the development corporation when ii was formed in june 1971. Or. Grosh who is also pres ident of Fairway milling grahvltd., would not comment on the relationship Between Mil prods and Fairway. He said that sometimes it is a condition of the loan that the recipient does not disclose de ails about the company or the nature of the loan. He said Mil prods also has a Oan from the Industrial development Bank and a Federal department of regional economic expansion Grant. He said Mil prods bought the fee Mill at 314 Archibald Street when the company was formed. The old name of the fee Mill is Sou Bay milling and Grain co Ltd. Or. Grosh said Mil prods is primarily an Export company for specialized Grain products. He said the damage to the fee Mill is not As bad As he Hac originally thought but could give no estimate of the Cost. He added that it was fully insured for fire damage. Men were Busy wednesday afternoon trying to get the Power going in the Mill. Or. Grosh said he has Al ready made arrangements with other companies to fill some of us Export orders so that he will not lose the contracts.
