Which recently was granted Permis Sion to provide Boeing 737 Jet service to both Dryden and Sault Ste. Marie. Formerly the Winnipeg to Toronto route included Thunder Bay As its Only Stop. The earliest possible Date for the extended Jet service Accord ing to officials would be in june. Bob Scott the company s Public relations director said work on developing schedules is Well under Way but a 45-Day period notice is mandatory in order that the changes can be listed in the official airline guide to that connecting lines can be notified and customers informed. Since Landing a Jet in Kenora is impractical trans air pro poses a service with twin Turbo prop aircraft to operate be tween Winnipeg red Lake Kenora and Dryden that would make Good fast connections at Dryden. Other Northwestern Ontario carriers Are also inter ested in providing connections which would make Dryden the air Centre of the Region.
