I has been estimated that spending Power in the neigh Tib Rhood of million a month is lost in each of the towns As Long As the plants of the on Tario Minnesota pulp and paper company remain closed the strike by maintenance workers of the two plants has been in effect since july z in fort Frances and july 9 in Kenora As the strike nears its three month Mark the effects Are showing in the business communities of the two towns. It is particularly noticeable now As the lucrative summer tourist season draws to a close.
