The Community committee approved a conditional use and zoning variation last sep tember to permit construction of the million Racetrack on a 125-acre site North East of Lagimodiere Boulevard Andt h e trans Canada Highway. Two residents said they were opposed to gambling in a residential area and said they would move rather than raise their children near a Racetrack. Davjd Brownson of 58 Peterboro Bay said people in the immediate area of the race track location Are almost unanimously opposed to its construction.
