Hyde free press staff writer Canada s three major meat packing companies wednesday offered the Canadian food and Allied workers Union a live Point plan to resolve labor prob lems in the e Industry. The companies Canada packers limited Burns foods Ltd. And Swift Canadian co. Limited made the offer Fol lowing the rejection by Union members across Canada of a mediator s proposal to end the dispute. The problems revolve around a contract dispute with the Union executive having been authorized to Call a National strike although no deadline has yet been set.
