The Mother Lois Gerrow 17, of Orono ont., was taken to Toronto general Hospital from Bowne Anville following an Accident sunday night in which her sister Heather Gail 12, was killed. Doctors at the Hospital examining Lois found her Clini Cally dead but seven months pregnant. They delivered the baby by caesarean Section monday morning. T h e 4.4-Pound baby was transferred to the Hospital for sick children. Initially a breathing device was needed but by tuesday the baby was breathing on her own. Allan Gerrow father of the two girls involved in the Accident said tuesday he and his wife will adopt the baby. An employee of Geneva motors Iii nearby Oshawa or. Gerrow has four other Chil Dren. He also asked doctors whether Lois s kidneys could be used for transplant. One was used in a transplant at Toronto general Hospital and the other taken to Toronto Western Hospital for possible transplant use or. Gerrow said his Daugh ters were involved in the Accident while in route to work at the coach and four hotel in the Orono area Northeast of Oshawa. He said they had been look ing after it every night since january when its owner Ger Rit Heykoop his wife and three children were killed in an Auto Mobile Accident. The two accidents he said occurred less than 100 feet apart near the Junction of highways 35 and 115. St. Boniface Hospital officially rated at 625 Beds will close about co Beds. Twenty Beds each Are to be closed in Grace Hospital which has 302 Beds and Vico Ria Hospital which has 254.
