Mail delivery has resumed in some areas because a number of the 22.000 members of the Canadian Union of postal workers Are Back on the Job but most of the inside postal workers Are on strike for their 40th Day. About workers at a newsprint Mill in Corner Brook Nykl voted this week to join thousands of other pulp and paper workers on strike in various parts of the country to Back contract de mands. Some workers in the Industry have been of strike since the summer. Meanwhile school teachers in the Montreal area continued selective work disruptions to protest the Quebec government s latest contract offer. The s.600 secondary school teachers in metropolitan Toronto who went on strike nov. 12 were told Fri Day by the Federal anti inflation Board that the latest offer to the teachers from their school Board was in excess of what the anti inflation Board would consider appropriate. Earlier in the week the Post office made an offer to striking workers and the Union s National executive met Friday to consider it.
