Too often he seems to wish it were a Nocturne but there is some great music work and or. Finch gave a Fine account of it. His technique seems More assured and his musician ship is always evident. In the fast movements he had a splendid and a wide Range of expression. The Skriabin sonata no. 5 is a work that followed immediately on the poem of ext any and it is very Simi Lar in style and Content. It Lias kaleidoscopic changes of mood and is a very concentrated work. Perhaps having heard the Chopin so often we were inclined to find the interesting than the Shorter More concentrated Skriabin.
