In a decision made Public today the com Mission says it reached the conclusion the Case must be heard in the open because of the fundamental right of the detective to a Public hearing and the right of the Public to know the nature of the conduct of the members of the Force which has been created to protect its the woman alleged she was assaulted by he police officer june 3 last year in the Public safety building. Although she complained to the Winnipeg police commission about the alleged brutality the Winnipeg Board dismissed her charges without calling a hearing and inviting her to address them.
