We have no intention of abandoning our role in Cul Tural state Secre tary John Roberts said hours after the Quebec government announced propos als to assume jurisdiction Over so called cultural prop erty in the province. The Federal government endorsed preserving French culture in Quebec and would continue to play a part in developing it Roberts said. Parks minister Hugh Faulkner said he has no plan to relinquish control Over Federal Parks and historic Sites in Quebec or anywhere. City car race May hit skids by Steve Pona a formula Atlantic car race one of 11 being sponsored in North America this year by Labatt s brewery has been proposed for a makeshift course near Winnipeg stadium this summer.
