We have no intention of abandoning our role in Cul Tural state Secre tary John Roberts said hours after the Quebec government announced propos als to assume jurisdiction Over so called cultural prop erty in the province. The Federal government endorsed preserving French culture in Quebec and would continue to play a part in developing it Roberts said. Parks minister Hugh Faulkner said he has no plan to relinquish control Over Federal Parks and historic Sites in Quebec or anywhere.
