Steve Kelly of Ottawa finished second with 583 Points and William Hare of Renfrew ont., was third with 579. In the master classed Jans of Calgary scored 575 Points for first place and Darius Young of Winterburn alta., took second with 571. Regina s Bill Graham placed third with 569. Don Kishibe of London ont., won the expert class with 509 Points while Jules Beaupre of Duberger que., was two Points behind. Jim Muttai of North Battleford sask., finished third with 566. The Sharpshooter title went to Michel Menard of Nicolet que., with 595 Points two Points ahead of Art Tomsett of Victoria. William Engen of Regina scored 546 Points for third place. Toronto s Robert vogtle finished first in the marksmen class with 544 Points and Morley Dean of North Battleford had 537 to place second. Mark Howkins of Calgary was third with 531. The Alberta team with Jans Bernie Harrison James Timmerman and Young won the inter provincial title with 2.262 Points. In the air pistol Section Joe Vlasitz of Kamloops b.c., took the open championship with 378 of 400 possible Points. Tom Guinn of South Woods Lee ont., was second with 377 and Young third with 373. Jeff Clegg of Ottawa tied with Harrison and Yvan Trembe of Laval que., in the master class with 372 Points each. But Clegg was awarded the title on the basis of the highest score in the last 10 shots.
