Winnipeg Free Press (Newspaper) - July 28, 1978, Winnipeg, Manitoba Winnipeg free press classified Friday july 28, 1978 29 my answer by Billy Graham question my heart stopped beating for a few minutes after a heart attack but i was revived by the doctor. I Don t remember having any vision of heaven or anything so Why should i believe there is life after death a v. C. Answer i personally am very wary of reports from people who have come near to death and had some expert that convinced them of eternal life. Such experiences do not prove eternal life we do not know that they Are anything More than expressions of subconscious Hopes or even Delu Sions. Therefore even if you had had some Type of experience i would not say that should be your reason for hoping for life after death. There is one reason for believing in life after death and that is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. When Christ died on the Cross he was placed in a real Tomb and yet he came Forth from the grave. This proved beyond doubt that he was the son of god who took away our sins. It also proved beyond doubt that there is life beyond the grave and that his words concerning heaven Are True. Some of the greatest words in the Bible Are found in John i am the resurrection and the life he that Beli Eveth in me though he were dead yet shall he live and whosoever liveth and Beli Eveth in me shall never death has come into the world because the human race has rebelled against god the creator. Sin is our greatest problem and every human being is infected with sin. But god moves us he loves you. By Faith in him you can know you have eternal life with him by repenting of your sins and trusting Christ As Saviour and lord you can by saved from the penalty of sin eternal separation from god. I urge you to commit your life to him. 1 believe god has spared you just so you will have another Chance to come to him. For god sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved John deaths Grigor Edward Bain on thursday july 27, 1978 at Central Park Lodge 79 Poseidon Bay or.
