sir i am writing this letter As past president of the Sinclair Park Community i am very disturbed that the newspapers have continually printed letters from Murray Balagusz without further looking into the whole Story of his Balagusz Over the past four continually sent letters about the poor hockey Structure More specific Al about the Sinclair Park cd and their callous executive to your Here is a resume of what has been said by Over the past four years there has been Tio less than three different presidents at All of whom have More than Bent Over backwards to try to Settle the differences Between Ralph Brown the satellite of Sinclair Park and Sinclair four years ago when the boys in ques Tion were 11 years Sinclair and Ralph Brown together approved that the old hockey team was to play out of Ralph Brown and verbally agreed that Ralph Brown would subsequently take the 11 year old team every the following year the As was previously was to play out of at this Point the trouble Balagusz did not want to leave Ralph Brown because they had Given him everything he wanted the year Previ Ous and he could see no reason Why it should we had meetings with Ralph Brown and their who As Well As had a son on the team and after much persuasion convinced them to play out of Sinclair needless to the following five months were filled with complaints of poor ice poor uncleaned no dressing these people complained about everything they yet refused to help even though the year before there was nothing they would not do for Ralph last year the boys were 13 and again we were faced with the same we arranged a meeting at Sinclair at which time i was president with the parents of the and again were told How their boys were shortchanged the year we told them we had 12 teams out of Sinclair and that they were All treated also that the club ran Only As Well As the volunteers who came out and we tried to impress on them that Sinclair Park was the Community Centre of their area and that if everyone worked in their own Little the concept of the Centre was we had also just opened a bran new addition with very Good so there would be no dressing room after a Long at which Balagusz walked the parents reluctantly agreed to play out of the team was offered to Balagusz if he wanted but he wanted no part of a team playing out of Sinclair two who at the time were playing juvenile agreed to coach the this was the first time they had coached and believe it was pure hell for in the eyes of the parents there was nothing they could do in game they almost came to blows with parents of their own at the end of the year a letter was sent to me As president of Sinclair from Ralph Brown stating what a deplorable Job these boys had done in coaching and that their boys had lost a whole year of again they requested the team go to Ralph Brown with Balagusz As the letter was turned Over to the new executive who also tried to Settle the the North Winnipeg minor hockey association and the Winnipeg minor hockey association were brought in to solve the As you both associations stood behind Sinclair Park and found them not to be unjust at i ask can we ail be wrong this year Balagusz continued his vendetta against Sinclair Park and stated that these boys were put out of hockey by Sinclair stated that if these boys did not want to play out of the Sinclair Park area so they would be allowed transfers to any other Community Centre in the the boys were not but Balagusz because of his continual it might also be of interest to note that All of these boys play football soccer out of Sinclair Why will they not play hockey there is it really them who dont want to play out of or is this another example of parental interference i am not writing this to ridicule especially who is without a doubt an excellent hockey i just want both sides of the Story told and Clear the air about Sinclair Park Community yours Sinclair Park cd Krawitz in form Dave Moffson and Eddie Johns led
