Winnipeg Free Press (Newspaper) - June 16, 1979, Winnipeg, Manitoba Winning Pete 100 assured of Holiday at Camp the free press Sunshine fund has already ensured that at least 100 kids have a Camp vacation this the fund has raised More than in donations from free press but it wont Stop it is Only in its third week and is growing rapidly to help provide Camp holidays for those who cant afford there Are a lot of kids in that cat ego requests for Camp sponsorships on the special Sunshine fund Telephone Sunshine fund line have kept receptionist Lynn Falk Busy the last few and applications Are being processed daily so its just a matter of time until kids get on the bus to summer twelve High school students first to Benefit from the fund will be leaving monday for a fou Day Camp out at Riding Mountain National the group of 12 Girts will he accompanied by two they were approved As a special Case by Manitoba camping association Vic president Terry the free press and the association Are cooperating in the fundraising donations will be used to Send kids to the 44 nonprofit operated by which comprise the the association has set up a three member screening committee to in 0av6 free viruses around today Are the which cause the common cold and acute bronchitis in but there Are at least 1001 different types of that which is one reason we Haven yet been Able to cure the common there Are also Many other known viruses Adena and Coxsackie Are just two prominent ones that cause flu and cold sym but Are not in fact cold and flu if you contract one of these pseudo flu viruses you will probably think you have the but technically speaking you this Means More problems for a doctor who May diagnose patients illness As summer Only to see the same patient a few weeks with the its not
