No one gets after her to do her Homework. No one has to. Stratton 34, attends school because it s something she has wanted to do for a Long time. While she initially had some misgivings. Stratton believes she is now fitting into student life. The kids Are great they treat me like 1 m one of she says adding "1 Don t want any special privileges. I m treated the same As after being out of High school for 15 years stration says returning was frightening. Before she mustered some self Confidence she worried about fail ing. In order to meet University require ments Stratton is taking English his tory and biology. A single Parent Stratton also has two daughters attending Gle Lawn Don Alyn in Grade 11 and Gaylene in Grade 10 and Stratton says she enjoys going to school with them. Although they Don t attend any classes together they often run into each other in the Halls and once in awhile they meet for lunch. Over All she says things have worked out pretty Well. Stratton works full time so she often does t crack the books until late at night. But the extra Load i Sii l dampened her spirits.
