Mother nurse babies in Public to protest breast feeder eviction Toronto up two dozen mothers publicly breast fed their babies at a shop Ping mall yesterday to protest the earlier eviction of a woman who breast fed her baby while Selling Antiques from a Booth in the same mall. With their backs to a window facing Busy Bloor Street the mothers nursed their babies before television Crews and in full View of passing shoppers. The protest was prompted after the owner of a neighbouring boutique observed Jennifer Trott 32, of Burlington ont., breast feeding her son april 9 and became angered. She called the woman a pig and had her removed from the mall. About 40 women joined the one hour demonstration which ended before usual lunch hour crowds arrived. Reaction from passers by was mixed but generally favourable and mall management raised no objections.
