Patrick James Beely 25, of Bellavista Crescent was remanded without plea to May 11 when he appeared in court yesterday charged with criminal negligence impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level in excess of the Legal limit of 0.08. The charges Stem from an incident at 1m5 . Saturday in which Trevor William Macklin 21, of valour Road was killed. A Winnipeg police traffic department spokesman said Macklin was walking with his bicycle on the sidewalk on the South Side of Wellington Crescent Between Renfrew Street and Lanark Street when a truck westbound on Wel Lington Crescent went out of control crossed the Boulevard and the eastbound lanes mounted the curb passed Between two Trees and struck him. Macklin was taken to Misericordia Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival police said.
