Neil Osier executive director of project management said in an interview that if approved tenders for the new building would probably be called in late fall with construction to begin shortly afterwards. The building to be used for provincial judges criminal courts would be constructed behind the existing Law courts building on Broadway. Osier said the building which was announced in april 1980, would be three storeys High and House 20 courtrooms As Well As judges offices and other court facilities. Osier said the new building will be connected to the existing Law courts building by an above ground link. Their designs will be integrated. Two years for construction construction would take about two years to Complete he said.
