Meanwhile in Toronto it was announced that two Federal labor department mediators have been appointed to help in negotiations Between the Csc and its striking technicians. Csc spokesman Cec Smith said the corporation was advised yesterday of the appointments of Henry Bartenbach and Ken Hulse by labor minister Gerald Regan. Smith said Csc was to meet again with the Union today but he did not know when the mediators would become involved in negotiations. Yesterday two Nabet pickets showed up at the University of Manitoba where Federal employment minister Lloyd Axworthy was holding a press conference to announce a is million Federal Grant to the University s microelectronics Centre.
