Selkirk Industrial Park and is proposing to build a storage facility for toxic Selkirk mayor Bill Shead said yester Day the kinetic contaminants Canada asked town Council in a letter yesterday to support the location of a chemical storage Council responded by asking the company of further information on its Shead said the firm paid about 000 a couple of weeks ago for the old Jordan wine Plant and property in Selkirk Industrial he said the company is proposing a three phase operation which would see construction of a solvent reclamation an interim chemical storage facility and eventually a permanent storage site for toxic although the company has asked for town councils blessings in the Shead said there is Little the councillors could do legally to prevent any company from moving in and setting i believe what the company is doing is seeing what Public reaction there will be in the Shead the company would prefer to have the moral support and the Welcome mat out from the the real
