children descend on Board in bid to spare Columbus from axe by Glen Mackenzie about 100 Columbus school parents and children demonstrated outside the James Assiniboia school division office yesterday to protest a Board decision to close the school in Shona Davidson of Kilmer Avenue said residents were reluctant to pull children from school for half a but weve tried everything else we want the
