They went to bed last night alone in first place in the West division of the Northern league. Jeff Zimmerman a Rookie from Calgary had Sioux Falls canaries eating out of his hand. Zimmerman struck out 11 and gave up Only four hits while walking five in the eight innings he pitched As the Gold eyes won 12-4. A Jeff was super a said Hal Lanier. A from the Day i first saw him i liked the velocity he threw and his Slider. His Slider is a great the Gold eyes Are 26-11 and that is half a game better than the Sioux City explorers who lost 2-0 yesterday in Thunder Bay. Mike Hickey drove in six of the Gold eyes runs. C. J.
