In 1992, More than a year after they sold it Pelletier says the Manitoba government came knocking looking for the sales tax on the House. I kept telling them we paid it we paid it " Pelletier said. This february the family s apartment was lost in a fire. They did not have insurance. A month later the provincial government ended up Garnish eing the wages of Pelletier s husband Joseph for the sales tax about $3,000. Pelletier was then informed to collect the Money from the Saskatchewan government. She says a Manitoba taxation official even sent a letter on her behalf but Only after collecting from her husband. In August the Saskatchewan finance department got Back to her. She was told it was too late the province has a four year statute of limitations for remitting tax overpayment. A senior official in the Manitoba taxation division said that if the House was headed for this province there s no question Manitoba tax was due. I had just gone to bed and i heard this tremendous noise Martin said. I did t know what it was. But i thought of gosh i Hope it s not a plane in trouble then i heard a Large bang. Then the fire department went Down the Martin said the plane appeared to have gone Down near the Seaside Community of Northwest Cove. She said the water was relatively Calm and there was no storm in the area. A spokesman at the Moncton n.b., air traffic control Centre said last night the weather was Fine when the plane disappeared from the Centre s radar about 60 Kilometres South of Halifax. Conrad Bellehumeur a Nav Canada spokesman said Moncton lost Contact with Swissair flight 111 at 10 30 Atlantic time. Scott Schnare a Blandford residents said he also heard the crash.
