Its unusual that so Many Ridings especially in Winnipeg Are too close to Call. And it was unthinkable six weeks ago that so Many other so called Safe Ridings would be looking a Little dangerous. But now its possible that untouchable Liberal incumbents such As Winnipeg South Centre my Anita Neville could be vulnerable and Star candidates such As former mayor Glen Murray Are far from shoo ins. Even some popular new democrats such As Winnipeg centres Pat mar tin Are in Tough fights. Its been 20 years since Manitoba a politics seemed so unstable. That was during prime minister Brian Mulroney a 1984 sweep when even St. Boniface voted tory. Of the 14 Manitoba seats some of which have been radically redistribute the tories now hold five the liberals another five and the new democrats four. A probe research poll done about a week ago of 1,000 Manitoban shows a real three Way race with the conservatives at 37 per cent of decided votes the liberals at 30 per cent and the nip at 27 per cent. The greens who Arent Likely to win any seats but have been More aggressive than Ever have grabbed the support of five per cent of voters.
