Mcgregor is survived by his Loving wife of 67 years Katherine daughter Lana Swan daughter in Law Ruth Wood grandchildren Donna Hugh Leanne Rick Tracy Trevor Kelli Leigh and Taryn Shawn great grandchildren Matthew Mitchell Evan Kathryn Mackenzie Jenna and Lilli sister Joan Bill and numerous nieces nephews cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Victor and Helen Wood son Glenn in 2003 sister Elaine and brother Daniel. Mcgregor was born on october 28, 1918 in Winnipeg. He attended Gordon Bell High school. Mcgregor served with the fort Garry horse regiment and landed on the beaches of Normandy on a Day. He was a lifelong member of the West Kildonan legion. After the War he attended business College then worked for the Manitoba government for a Short time. Mcgregor worked for the car for 35 years beginning As a police Constable and retiring As an investigator. Mcgregor enjoyed Curling swimming and golfing. The family would like to thank the staff at Home care and at Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial service will be held on monday july 31 at 2 00 .
