The couple was heading westbound on the Tran Canada Highway when the trailer caught fire around 3 . Near Eli. The pair jumped out of their vehicle before the Bronco caught fire. No one was injured but ramp staff sgt. Steve Saunders said both the truck and trailer were destroyed. Saunders said the Man and woman whose names Arent being released were moving to Saskatchewan. Man stabbed in fight an argument at a Beverly Street House Early saturday morning resulted in a Man being stabbed several times in the upper body. After the 5 30 . Incident the 30?year-old victim was taken to Hospital in critical condition but was later upgraded to stable condition. Police Are searching for a 33-year-old suspected attacker. Boys arson suspects two boys seven and eight were apprehended in connection with a series of fires set Over a two month period. The youths were turned Over to their Legal guardians police said yesterday. Over the two months authorities responded to a number of garbage bin and grass fires and two garage fires. On june 24, a fire on the porch of an Aberdeen Avenue Home caused Resi dents to evacuate. The fire spread to a Neighbours House and caused substantial damage to both Homes. Cattle have anthrax eight herds of cattle in Southeastern Manitoba have been affected by out Breaks of anthrax the Canadian food inspection Agency reports. To Date 68 cattle one horse and 10 Bison have died of the disease in the Rural municipalities of Franklin Star turn and Piney. The Agency continues to quarantine and vaccinate cattle in the identified herds. Producers on farms surrounding the quarantined herds Are encouraged to have local veterinarians vaccinate their herds to safeguard cattle living close to the quarantined area. It is important to protect any carcass with suspected anthrax keeping it intact and away from scavengers. ? staff ;
