These incidents Are rare but the dangers Are obvious const. Nick Paulet said yesterday. The Cable was tied Between a tree and a Light pole creating a Hazard for passing pedestrians cyclists and motor vehicles. A resident took the Cable Down and called police. No injuries or accidents were reported. Call crime stoppers at 786-8477 if you have information on who is responsible. Police Are still looking for the person who put a wire across the Bottom of a playground slide at Sun Valley school May 31. A Parent unhooked the wire before anyone was Hurt. Two robbery spree arrests police have arrested two men in connection with two separate robbery sprees in Winnipeg Over the past six months police said yesterday. A 34-year-old Man is charged with seven robberies March 3-6, allegedly stealing Cash and cigarettes from Southeast Winnipeg Gas bars and convenience stores. Sean Edwin Freeman was arrested thursday and is detained at the Winnipeg remand Centre. The second Man was arrested the same Day after a Short police Chase involving a stolen car in the City a West end. Police allege the same Man is connected to 51 business break ins Start ing april 13, 2004. About $42,000 Worth of goods were stolen in total and $15,000 in damage was caused. Crack cocaine charges a 40-year-old Winnipeg Man is charged with drug trafficking in connection with a seizure wednesday of 100 Grams of crack cocaine Worth $8,000 on the Street police said yesterday. Police said the Man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested at a House in the 400 Block of Furby Street. Allan Charles Cadiou is charged with possessing a substance for the purpose of trafficking and Possession of the proceeds of crime. He is detained at the Winnipeg remand Centre. The woman was released from Cus Tody on a Promise to appear in court at a later Date on similar charges. Her name was not released ;
