One thousand guests donned their Best Pink and White outfits and made their Way to the convention Centre on Fri Day night. A new York style fashion show kicked off the party. Modelling the latest Nygard fashions were 56 models 16 of whom Are breast cancer survivors. Canadas own supermodel sincerely lit up the room wearing the goddess gown designed by Peter Nygard which is being auctioned off to the highest bidder with All proceeds going to the breast cancer foundation. All i could say was stunning As the party continued Well past Midnight Conga lines made their Way around the room and Peter Nygard took Over the dance floor busting a move to a set of hip hop songs. Also spotted on the dance floor was hot 103?s Ace Burpee sporting a fantastic Pink shirt and tie. Now this is a party said Nygard who later in the night accepted a dare from Terry Verbowski a support worker and resource teacher from Selkirk who attended in support of a Friend who is battling breast cancer. Peter came Over to take a picture with us and i said to him for $100, will you come dance with me he said yes Verbowski plans to donate the Money from the dare to breast cancer research. The Climax of the evening came from the generous Dona Tion made towards the fight against breast cancer. Golf tournament welcomes 35 teams on the Golf course the Winnipeg free press held its annual Golf tournament on wednesday. The 10th annual Golf tournament held on the greens of Pine Ridge Golf club welcomed 35 teams with a total of 138 golfers.
