a look at the week ahead in and around Winnipeg Brandon u has open House Brandon University is holding the grand opening and open House for a new psychiatric nursing program in downtown Winnipeg today. The new 8,000-Square-foot facility will enable the University to accept 40 students a year in the Bachelor of science in psychiatric nursing program instead of the 20 students it could accept before. The program is housed in the lower level of the Rice financial building at 491 Portage ave., and is in collaboration with the University of Winnipeg. The ribbon cutting is at 2 . Dallaire to speak sen. Romeo Dallaire will be the keynote speaker at an event to raise awareness of the need to build an african cultural heritage Centre in Winnipeg. The event will take place wednesday at the Winnipeg Conven Tion Centre at 7 30 . And will include performances by african entertainment groups. Tickets Are $20.
