Sean Woroniak 26, and Sarah Lawrie 27, pulled two teens from Saskatchewan ? a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl ? from the normally shallow Waters of clubhouse Beach when High winds and a Strong current kept pulling the Young teens under water. Woroniak said he and Lawrie his franc were walking along clubhouse Beach shortly after lunch aug. 6 when they saw a teen in knee deep water Call ing for help. She was crying and upset and said her Boyfriend and sister were in the water and could to swim Woroniak said As he recalled the incident. Woroniak said the Strong winds that Day made the water very Choppy and he had difficulty spotting the two non swimmers. He said they were about 30 to 40 metres from Shore. Normally the water there is about 1.5 metres deep he said but the conditions that Day made the water unsafe. At that Point there a no Sand on the Bottom. Its just big rocks he said. I could see them going under and popping Back up Woroniak said he swam out and reached the 14-year-old girl who was closest and brought her Back to knee deep water where Lawrie took her to Shore and stayed with her. Woroniak said the current had taken the 17-year-old boy further out from Shore about a 50-metre distance. He said another swimmer had gone out to stay with the teen but it appeared he did to have the strength to pull him Back to Shore. I took a Boogie Board with me and swam out to them both Woroniak said. The 17-year-old was just holding on to the other Guy and i took them both and brought them Back to Woroniak said ramp Victoria Beach police and local paramedics arrived on the Beach shortly afterwards. The two teens were treated for exhaustion and cuts and bruises they incurred from the Rocky Bottom. After giving their report Woroniak said he and Lawrie left.
