Of what a frightful night folks flock to zoo museum for halloween happenings a Assiniboine Park zoo was transformed into a haunted House this past week for the annual Safeway boo at the zoo. Children and grown ups lined up outside the zoo Entrance in their Best halloween costumes anticipating a frightful night amid the mild Winnipeg weather. This years theme boo goes Hollywood guided cos tume Clad guests through themed zones in various areas of the zoo. Themes included wild West area 54 and fairy tale Lane. Of course witches and goblins were scattered along the path. As Creepy halloween sounds filled the air the fun never stopped. Veering off the spooky path boo at the zoo guests were entertained by carnival rides games and Volunteer actors portraying fairy tale princesses aliens and skeletons bringing out the frightful squeals in everyone. The Manitoba museum opened its doors for the first annual halloween Funk Adelic on Friday night. The sold out crowd of 750 Manitoban donned cos Tumes for a night of Good times with All Money going Back to programs and exhibits at the museum. Its the first year and a new direction for the museum said Holli Moncrieff Public relations manager at the Manitoba museum. We re trying to show Young people that we do neat things Here and that there is More to the the party featured the sounds of djs Coop and Hunnicut eight Tarot card readers spooky airbrush tattooing and a haunted ghost town tour through the museums most gruesome collections. While guests lined up for the different events the Manitoba museum has already begun planning for next years party promising More Good times.
