The lab has several state of the Art cameras aimed up and Down the length of Arlington Street Between Logan and William avenues. Police believe the images will give them the information they need to verify details of the attack and catch the suspect possibly the licence plate of his vehicle. The girl told police she was walking alone North on Arlington Street at about 1 a. M. Saturday. At Alexander Avenue just outside the Fence of the lab compound she said she was approached by a Man in a car who offered her a ride. The Man then drove to a secluded area in the 900 Block of Elgin Avenue and threatened to kill the girl police said. Elgin is immediately South of Alexander so its possible the Man did a u turn at Alexander and drove past the labs cameras before he turned West on Elgin. It was on Elgin that he assaulted the child police said. The Block is Home to a number of businesses most if not All of which would have been closed at that hour. Police said the Man drove Back to the area of Arlington and Elgin in front of the labs main Gates and dropped the girl off. He then drove off. When he picked her up the girl was walking Back to wheelies roller rink at 1010 Logan ave., which is open All night. Its believed she had spent the evening there. At some Point before Midnight she left the Complex to go to a friends House. Police did not specify that address. The girl does not live in the neighbourhood. She then left the friends House to walk Back to wheelies by herself. Its believed that when the girl was dropped off by the Man at Arlington and Elgin she continued walking to wheelies. Once there she told someone she had been sexually assaulted and police were called. A spokesman at wheelies said monday he could not comment on the incident. Dennison said the child abuse unit is now investigating. The unit investigates sexual assaults of children under 14.
