Bishop Michael devoted himself totally to a daunting task in his new territory acquitting himself ably with his " hands on approach. He took an Active role in both Catholic and ecumenical issues and won admiration and respect both for himself and the ukrainian Catholic Church in great Britain. The Bishops retirement was finally accepted in 2001 and he returned to Newark n. J. In 2002. Her last jobs included working at the aboriginal boarding schools in the Pas and Birtle my. She retired in 1972 and moved to Falcon Beach my to be closer to her youngest daughter Vera. While at Falcon she enjoyed Bird watching gardening quilting babysitting Bead work and crafts. In 1997, she sold her Home As did her daughter Vera and together they moved to Stonewall my. Momus first and Only trip to Scotland 1990 was a lifetime highlight. As a Mother mom was absolutely wonderful always Loving kind caring supportive and nurturing. She was truly a teacher of life. Momus gentle ways enabled her to be a close Friend to us As Well. The family Bons were very Strong and family visits were dearly treasured. During the later years mom particularly cherished her time with her grandchildren. Mom had Many Fine personal traits. Her unloving personality and warm sense of Humour ensured we could always share a laugh with her. Mom truly enjoyed Many fun times with friends and family whether they involved the piano dancing or listening to music including that of her daughters and grandsons pipes and guitar respectfully. She was meticulous in All that she did with her hard working hands. Mom was very non judgemental kind and thoughtful in so Many ways to All this being Well documented in All the cards and letters received from her by so Many. Mom was truly a Good sport in life always rolling with lifers punches. She remained Young at heart always keeping abreast with the Many changes time brings. Mom enjoyed her visits to Swan River the fun of camping with family and friends and eventually loved spending family time at the Island cottage on Lake of the Woods a place she fondly thought so Beautiful. Despite her lung condition in recent years until this year she continued to make the journey to the Lake enjoying each moment she had there. Throughout her lifetime mom remained a consummate lady in All that she did and said. She was forever gracious whether tending to her Garden baking a Lemon pie at the cottage or enjoying a drink on the Dock.
