Licorie a present & hidden danger i was taken on a Brief shopping tour this past wednesday afternoon. As i do not drive a car anymore due to some Eye fault being taken shopping is a treat though it is indeed an event i await with great anticipation i still manage to forget Many things like Money or a shopping list. A Well themes the Breaks. One of the stops we made was at a bulk food store which is a pleasant experience even if you Diana want anything but i did. I wanted some Walnut crumbs whole Brazil nuts and a special treat which id gone without for some time chewy Black Licorie. Yummy i got the Brazil nuts but the securing of said chewy Black Licorie got me so excited i forgot about the walnuts. No matter i rushed to capture the Golden fleece As you Are not allowed to Sample or nibble from the containers a process known As nothing to the consumer but stealing to the retailer i took my Licorie to the cashier immediately so i could get a head Start on gulping my Cache. My Driver a person of limited temper and Little patience asked if id read the list of contents of my Purchase. I said no. Whats the big Deal i was taken Back to the Licorie bin and read the ingredients. I have eaten and gobbled up tons or at least pounds and pounds of this exotic treat this Licorie but was stunned and completely flabbergasted when the ingredients were read to me. This wonderful exotica is toxic to me anyway and i would imagine it is possibly As dangerous to most who would Overly imbibe this delicious confection. The ingredients were probably in the Range of being ninety percent or More of different sugars absolutely harmful and injurious to diabetics like me Back at the car i explained to my Young dog Coco the hazards of eating Licorie. She said who does not know that were not All dummies around Here anything else you Wanna Tell Coco asked my Driver wearing a wide Grin. My. pedestrian killed was stand up Guy a family said by Lindsey Wiebe t he lawyer for David Molgaard and the author of the first article to say the Man was innocent believe a judge unfairly criticized the mans Mother for her decades Long Campaign to free him. Both lawyer Hersh Wolch and author and journalist Peter Carlyle Gorge say Alberta Justice Edward Maccallum was wrong when he said Joyce Milga Ards actions were counter productive. Wolch said on saturday a Day after the judges 800 Page inquiry report was released in Saskatchewan that if not for the mothers Campaign her son would still be in jail and Larry Fisher would be free. It just numbs the mind that he would say Joyce would do something not right. Everything she did was in Good Faith. And she was right they had the wrong Guy in jail and the right Guy was out. And Carlyle Gorge whose profile of Joyce Molgaard in the 1982 Book Winnipeg eight was the first time any writer said her son was not guilty says she deserves an apology and so does the family. I think his criticism is unfair. I agree with what Joyce did. David Molgaard was convicted in 1970 for the murder of Saskatoon nurse Gail Miller in 1969. Molgaard spent 23 years in prison before the supreme court of Canada set aside his conviction. In 1997, Dan evidence proved Molgaard innocent but convicted Fisher. The Saskatchewan governments inquiry into the wrongful conviction which Cost More than $ 10 million and sat 191 Days began in 2003 and concluded in 2006. Molgaard who is now 56 and living in Calgary with his wife and two Young children received $ 10 million in compensation in 1999. For years Joyce Molgaard has received Praise for her years Long crusade to free her son. She even received an honorary degree from the University of Winnipeg last year for being a role Model who overcame the tragedy of her son David Milga Ards wrongful conviction and launched a Public spirited Pursuit of Justice for the wrongfully convicted. Joyce Molgaard was also awarded the Canada 125 anniversary medal from the Federal government for her significant contribution to fellow citizens their Community or Canada. She is the regional director for the association in defence of the wrongfully convicted. Wolch said he thinks the judges negative feelings about Milga Ards family were sparked when David refused to testify at the inquiry. He later was allowed to testify on video. But Wolch said hers sure the Saskatchewan government Isnit Happy about the judges handling of the inquiry. It was supposed to be a six month $ 2 million inquiry and it grew to a $ 10 million Wolch said. Why did it take two years to write a report while Carlyle Gorge is pleased with the judges recommendations which included having the Federal government create an Independent review commission to examine claims of wrongful conviction he a snot surprised the judge concluded there was no coverup by Saskatoon police or prosecutors. The Legal establishment tend to Circle the wagons he said. Kevin. Rollason free press. My. key moments in Molgaard Case Jan. 31, 1969 nursing assistant Gail Millers partially Clad body is found in a snowy Saskatoon Alley. She has been raped and stabbed to death. Subsequent appeals Are denied. 1973 Molgaard escapes from Dorchester Penitentiary in new Brunswick but is captured. 1980 Molgaard does not return to prison after being released on a Day pass. He is caught 77 Days later and shot in the Back during his recapture. Nov. 29, 1991 Federal Justice minister Kim Campbell directs the supreme court of Canada to review Milga Ards conviction after she is presented with evidence that another Man Larry Fisher May have killed Miller.
