Or. Bill Pope College registrar said the College has received about 15 complaints in the last eight months that a physician wont take new patients filing insurance claims because of the extra paperwork involved. The College recently issued a reminder to All doctors that physicians cant discriminate against patients filing medical claims with Manitoba Public insurance or workers compensation Board and that doing so could place an undue Burden on their colleagues. Pope said doctors can accept or refuse a patient based on their current patient Load and knowledge of certain health problems. However doctors Are expected to care for some patients settling insurance claims. Pope said doctors across the province Are swamped but have to divvy up the paperwork among them. Every physician should have some of these patients Pope said. We would expect everyone to take his or her share of the Load. Earlier this year a statistics Canada National health Survey found More than 140,000 Manitoban dont have a regular family doctor. The data revealed that 15 per cent of Manitoban dont have a regular doctor including 46,000 people or five per cent who find one and another 95,000, or 10 per cent who a vent looked for a regular physician. Family doctors Are expected to have a mix of patients and taking on too Many with Complex chronic conditions or insurance paperwork could be Overly time consuming. Police charged Muzychka while they continued to search the Brady Road Landfill for the remains of Etcheverry which they have not yet found. Without a body police cant confirm the cause of death. Muc Zyka is currently facing charges of second degree murder robbery with a weapon and three counts of break and enter. Ramp heading Ley detachment assisted by the ramp police service dog and Winnipeg police service were searching for Muzychka Harpish said. If anyone has any information on his whereabouts they Are asked to Contact police and not to approach him Harpish said. The Guy escaped. Manitoba Justice was granted a court order in Early september to have Muzychka transported from a Richmond b. C., jail to Manitoba to face the charge. Etchevery Ryus co workers at direct transport were the first to worry when he did not show up for work and one of his supervisors called police. Close to that time police received a tip that a homicide had taken place and that the body might be in the Brady Landfill. Police a vent indicated a motive for the killing but believe it occurred on july 24. Investigators became aware of Muzycha kans whereabouts after he was convicted for theft and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after a near tragic aug. 5 incident in Vancouver. He was handed a 16 month sentence for driving a stolen truck and leading police on a High Speed Chase. At one Point he jumped the curb and drove the truck through a Field where kids were attending Bike Camp. Winnipeg police believe just before he left for Vancouver with a 19 year old Winnipeg woman he committed three break and enters and car jacked a Man in the downtown on july 27. Its alleged he and the woman used that stolen car to drive to the West coast before ditching it and stealing another. Muzychka is also pending on aggravated assault charges after allegedly stabbing and seriously wounding an inmate at Stony Mountain Institute last december.
