Moose the lovable Mascot of the Manitoba Moose hockey team. So our hero decided to set a trap for Mick e. Moose by having the furry Mascot summoned to a luxury suite under the pretence of having him entertain a Gaggle of fun Loving fans with his famous comical Hij inks. I know this Story is True because i got it straight from the mooses Mouth. I met Mick e. Moose last weekend when both of us were invited to perform with the Winnipeg symphony orchestra. I am pleased to report that Mick e. Moose is not Only a musical Genius but under All that fake fur and giant Novelty skates and Antlers is one Heck of a Nice Young Guy a Guy dedicated to being the Best darn Mascot he can be. How dedicated is he Well i tried to persuade him to Swap Heads with Goldie the Winnipeg Gold eyes Mascot who was also performing with the symphony but he did not think this was a Good idea. Getting Back to our Story an unsuspecting Mick e. Moose walked into the suite ready to spread his special Brand of mirth when the trap was sprung. I walked in the door and i got jumped from behind by this rambunctious older gentleman Mick e. Recalled. He had my number. Did i mention that in addition to being a dedicated unloving kind hearted Mascot Mick e. Moose is also an expert in martial arts i did not Well he is. In fact Mick e. Moose works out at a local gym owned by a close family Friend. But and heres a big Surprise our first sports hero did not realize he was biting off Wavay More Moose than he could Chew. Using my knowledge of Jujitsu i reversed his attack Mick e. Recalled i grabbed onto his Arm that was around me and threw him. He landed on a Couch. When he got up he came at me again and he fell Down. Now you Are no doubt thinking if i was wearing a really heavy Moose costume and was trained in martial arts what would i do next the answer you would sit on the Guy so thatus what Mick e. Moose did. When Security arrived they found the victorious Mascot perched casually on top of his horribly misguided attacker. His friends gave him a pretty hard time Mick e. Chuckled they said dude you got owned by Mick e. Moose a there is a lesson to be Learned from this but we have to move on to sports hero no. 2, whom i will identify Only As a one time manager for the Sioux City explorers a baseball team that used to play in the Northern league. This Story was also told to me backstage at the symphony by my Good Friend Ron Arnst the legendary voice of the Gold eyes at can West Park and a Man with an encyclopedic knowledge of baseball. It seems the explorers were hanging around outside the clubhouse in Thunder Bay a few years Back after playing against the whiskey jacks. The players were waiting for their manager to come out so they could hop on the bus for the Long ride Home. So they waited. And waited. Finally puzzled by the delay they wandered into the clubhouse where they found their unconscious manager sprawled on the floor of the showers with the water still running. Apparently when he turned on the Shower the Force of the water blasted the nozzle off and wham it hit him in the head knocking him out cold Ron explained to me. The reassuring part is he was just Fine when they woke him up. He just a snot very Happy.
