Nelson Norris 52, was inspired to build the sculpture in his front Yard after seeing Debby last fall shortly before she died. The 42 year old Polar Bear the worlds oldest in Captivity was already sick at the time and could barely move Norris said. When i saw her last time it was sad but it was a lasting impression. What better Way to leave a tribute he said Friday. It took Norris several Days to Complete the sculpture. He started by filling a 2.7 cubic metre wooden Box with fresh Snow and leaving it overnight.
