He was also trying to mask years of depression with a costly Crystal methamphetamine habit that friends and colleagues say left him edgy and unpredictable. Van Den Bosch recently raised the stakes when he got hold of several guns and began talking about ending his life. Head been acting really weird. Only hours after his death police raided a Manitoba Avenue Home and uncovered numerous weapons including a sub machine gun and five sawed off shotguns and arrested three people. The free press has Learned Van Den Bosch was friends with those accused and had expressed recent fears that someone had tipped off police about his connection to the guns. Court documents show he has an extensive history with the criminal Justice system. He was arrested in september 2007 after a raid at a downtown apartment in which he was living uncovered several sawed off shotguns and ammunition. Van Den Bosch was charged with five weapons related offences along with two breaches of a previous probation order stemming from earlier property crime convictions. He was sentenced to seven months behind bars in january 2008 for a break and enter and other breaches. He was released from custody last Spring but rearrested last summer for another bail breach following a single vehicle car crash near Falcon Lake. Police found Van Den Bosch drunk outside the vehicle which was allegedly being driven by a Friend. Van Den Bosch was arrested again in november 2008 for allegedly assaulting his Girlfriend and destroying property inside the Charleswood apartment where they lived. The Girlfriend had accused Van Den Bosch of cheating on her court was told. He spent several Days in custody before provincial court judge Marva Smith granted him bail despite objections from the Crown. Smith said she had some concerns Given his track record but was willing to give him one More Chance. Van Den Bosch briefly worked at Nicks inn in heading Ley his lawyer told court. He had the full support of his Mother who lives in Carberry and posted a surety for his latest release. She be reached for comment Friday. Van Den Bosch appeared in court monday on his outstanding charges and had them adjourned until later this month. Less than 48 hours later he was dead. Police say they did not use guns or tasers on Van Den Bosch. Police later located interviewed and released the Driver of the Honda that left the scene after Van Den Bosch bolted. He is a Friend of the Young Man and is not facing any charges. Friends say they re not surprised Van Den Bosch did not fire at police before turning the weapon on himself. Although police reported the arrest and charges against a resident of the Home another Man and the teen they were silent about also locating the three Home invasion suspects. Police responded to a request for information after the suspects were due to appear in court Friday. Brook Mccargar 21, David Siemens 20, and 19 year old Kendra Sinclair have been charged with a number of criminal offences including break and enter with intent to assault assault wearing a disguise and weapons infractions. Reginald Sparrow and Preston Wood Are the adult men charged in connection with the firearms raid. The youth co accused cannot be named under Canadian youth Justice Laws.
