The 3rd annual Garden Party Fashion Show in support of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build took place Sunday, May 5, 2013. It was a fabulous afternoon of fashions, food and friends with all proceeds to Women Build - a program that promotes women as leaders and gives them the opportunity to help construct sponsored homes in our community. The afternoon commenced with champagne and juices and a glorious display of auction prizes. Chrissy Troy was the Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer extraordinaire! Women Build’s 2012 Homeowners shared what moving into their new home has meant to them, and Myriah Lesko shared her experiences of doing an international Habitat Build in Cambodia. A light lunch was followed by a 60- minute Fashion Show featuring volunteer models of all ages and body types showcasing fashions from Appareo Fashion Boutique, Diva Lingerie, Divine and Conquer, H’Attitude, Hempryean, Paper Doll Clothing, Rockabetty and Shelmerdine.
