A TRIP AROUND THE WORLD
OF ENTERTAINMENT

Snoop Dogg
a granddaddy
SNOOP Dogg, who calls himself the Doggfather,
can now say he's a grandfather, too.
Jessica Kyzer, the partner of Snoop's oldest
son, Cord Broadus, gave birth the other day
to a son, Zion.
Calvin Broadus, as the Snoopster was born,
also has sons named Cordell and Julian Corrie,
and a daughter named Cori.
JLo shoots down rumour
she's seeing co- star
J ENNIFER Lopez, 45, has found it necessary to
deny rumours she's dating Ryan Guzman, her
27- year- old co- star in the movie The Boy Next Door .
The picture, a thriller, is about a fling that goes badly.
Lopez told Ellen DeGeneres on her TV show the other
day she's not dating Guzman.
" No, no, no," she said, adding they've been together at
awards- season events lately, but only in public.
Lopez recently unloaded her boy toy Casper Smart,
who's the same age, but she said there's nothing going
on with Guzman.
On the other hand, she added, if she were romancing
him, so what?
" There's nothing wrong with that. I hate they have
a label for a woman who would date a younger guy,"
Lopez said. " If a younger guy is interested in you, what's
the big deal?"
Dating is
difficult:
Nicks
IT'S not easy to get into
the dating world, Stevie
Nicks tells Rolling Stone .
First, she's not interested
in older men. " What if
I fall in love with somebody
and they die?"
And men her age -
she's 66, amazingly
- " wanna go out with
somebody that's 25."
Nicks tried younger
guys in the 1990s, but that
didn't work, apparently
because she's too famous
to go out anywhere, or
something.
At least she's logical:
" I've narrowed it down to
nobody."
Actress says
celebrity is ' scary'
WITH the Fifty Shades of Grey premire coming up,
Dakota Johnson is on the publicity circuit, and complaining
- to Vogue magazine - about her " dwindling
anonymity."
This condition is " really scary," she claims, " because
a very large part of me would be perfectly
happy living on a ranch in Colorado and having
babies and chickens and horses."
And yet there she is, bravely doing interviews,
living in hotel suites, signing autographs, looking
glamorous, being famous.
Mind you, she's from a Hollywood family. I suppose
back in the day, her parents Melanie Griffith and Don
Johnson, her stepfather Antonio Banderas and her
granny Tippi Hedren all went around promulgating
the same bilge about hating the spotlight.
The movie opens Valentine's Day.
Movie stars
shouldn't be
musicians: Depp
JOHNNY Depp says, apparently seriously, that he
hates the idea of actors becoming musicians.
The Sydney Morning Herald quotes Depp, 51, speaking
at the Berlin premire of his movie Mortdecai ,
saying this: " The kind of luxury now is, anybody with
a certain amount of of success, if you have a kind of
musical being, you can go out and start a band and
capitalize. I hate the idea, ' Come see me play the
guitar because you've seen me in 12 movies.' "
Depp admits he has jammed with musician pals,
Marilyn Manson and Oasis among them.
" I've been very lucky to play on friends' records.
But you won't be hearing the Johnny Depp Band.
That won't ever exist."
Garner fed up with dieting
JENNIFER Garner says she's just plain done with dieting.
Every time she's dealing with costume for a new movie,
she told Yahoo, " There's always a point in the fitting where I
feel like, ' Why didn't I just try to lose four pounds, and then I
could wear any dress?' "
" I just can't, though. I dieted for so long in the middle of
doing Alias and being a superhero" - she's talking about
her spy series and the films Daredevil and Elektra - " that
there's something in me that can't do anything that extreme"
anymore.
So now she doesn't wear " crazy dresses" on the red carpet.
