T HE police homicide unit is investigating after a body was removed from a house at 676 Pritchard Ave. that burned early Monday. “ We located a deceased person in the residence. Our homicide unit is investigating,” said Insp. Cam Baldwin, who did not release any other details. “ We’re early in our investigation.” Firefighters rushed to the scene at 5: 41 a. m. to find a one- storey wood frame house ablaze. A spokesman said the fire started on the main floor and spread to the attic. The fire is being designated as suspicious. There is no cause or damage estimate yet.
