It's even worse when he walks around without a shirt, wearing his short bathing suit and showing off his gorgeous tan. I admit I am really jealous. Last weekend at the lake he made me crazy by being polite to girls who were hanging onto him at a party and asking for kisses. That was not the first time that had happened, but this time I blew up! I asked to borrow his car keys for a moment and drove his car to my parents' cabin a half- hour away. He texted me to tell me to get my butt back to the lake with his car. Dear Miss Lonelyhearts: I've been with my common- law partner for eight years and am waking up to the fact he is just not right for me. He lacks self- esteem and leans on me, but he's a great roommate. I feel I'm outgrowing him as I want to grow and improve as a person, while he likes the status quo. I told him things have to change or I would be gone, so he's changing back to the person he was before. Now how can I now not want him? There's no one else and no kids involved. I think I want to leave, but I'm scared of the financial burden of living alone again. Am I just angry at being rejected for so long? - Too Picky?
